| Other Info | The Music Committee will be hosting an evening of visual and performing arts to benefit the Amanda Osterby Fund. Please join us for a reception and photography exhibit of Connecticut photographers from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the dining room and then enjoy a concert in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m. of singer/songwriter Carrie Johnson and her band. Carrie’s music crosses many musical genres including folk and rock with intricate harmonies and sophisticated lyrics. Her music can be found on I-Tunes or at www.carriejohnsonmusic.com. Carrie has sung backup for Paula Abdul, Debbie Gibson and Belinda Carlisle. She has toured the country singing everything from coffee houses to festivals and has been the opening act for contemporary artists such as Lisa Loeb and the Goo Goo Dolls. Her music has broad appeal for all ages and we are very excited to have her perform for us. Tickets are $15.00 per person and will be available to church members beginning April 1st. Tickets will be opened to the public 2 weeks before the event, so get your tickets for friends and family early as we are looking to sell out. Email Kim Villanti for more information or for advance ticket sales at: KVillanti@aol.com or at 589-4142. This event is made possible through the Jeffrey Merriman Memorial Fund. |
